Looking back at 2021, Endurocad hosted yet another Invitational Middle Distance Series, with three more awesome meetings during November. This time, spectators were allowed in the stadium, which added even more atmosphere to a successful campaign. Looking forward to a lot more of these in 2022.

During the third meeting, the heavy rain didn`t deter anyone, as Deon-Lee Hendricks once again took the honours in the 1500m.

On super hot days like today, most of us would think nothing better than a good swim in the sea.

Looking back to earlier this month, I quite enjoyed a morning out, covering a Robben Island crossing with @ststri @stellenbosch_aquatics and @bigbayevents

Under the view of Table Mountain, Nikhill Mehta @nikhil_.98 completed his 7.6km swim from Robben Island to Blouberg in a superb time of 1h46min.

Endurocad is a distance running and endurance sports academy in Stellenbosch, doing wonders for young athletes across the country.

So, in August 2014, I started volunteering at the Root44 parkrun. Through all the exercise, fun and amazing people I`ve got to know, it`s been quite an experience.

parkrun is currently suspended worldwide, and we`re waiting patiently for its resumption. It probably won`t be soon, but when it`s back in action, I encourage everyone to find their nearest parkrun, and get out there. It`s awesome!
